Sweet Security is a 9-month-old startup focused on cloud security. Its co-founder and Chief Product Officer Eyal Fisher said the company came about after the founders “identified a huge problem in the cloud security arena.” That problem is complexity, which leads to configuration errors, which lead to data breaches.
“You always have to assume you are going to get breached,” Fisher said, so you need to know what is happening in your environment in real time. Then you can remediate.
Sweet Security’s product is the Cloud Runtime Security Suite. It helps CISOs and security teams defend against all stages of a cyberattack by gathering feed data, generating insights about it, baselining the customer’s normal environment and looking for deviations.

Fisher has more than 20 years of experience in various R&D and cyber technology units within the Israel Defense Forces. He also served as the head of the Cyber Operation Center, part of Unit 8200. Before founding Sweet Security, Fisher was the founder and CEO of Preciate.me, a retail tech startup that created facial recognition technology for brick-and-mortar stores. He also served as head of delivery at Talon Cyber Security.
